On feeding Alice today I decided to try unscented weanling rats first. She was hungry, however she had no interest in the rats. I removed the rats and thawed out a large mouse. I scented all the rats with the mouse and fed Alice the mouse first. She quickly removed the mouse from my grasp. I placed the rats on a paper plate and placed them in her enclosure. She did have a false start on one of the rats, however she ate all three on them. At a total of 140g of rodent, I think she will be content for a few days.
